The best is getting even better. Last month, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe made its North American debut at the 2018 New York International Auto Show, giving drivers a taste of the next evolution of its best-selling SUV ahead of its arrival this summer.
There will be just a bit of adjustment necessary with the new Santa Fe lineup. The former Santa Fe Sport will now go by the Santa Fe moniker, while the former Santa Fe will now be known as the Santa Fe XL. There’s also a third version of the Santa Fe that will be available this year—the Santa Fe Diesel, which gets an occasional-use third-row seat with one-touch folding second row in addition to a burly 2.2-liter CRDi turbodiesel that cranks out 190 horsepower and 322 lb-ft of torque.
It might also take just a bit to get used to the look of the new Santa Fe family. Marked by the signature Hyundai Cascading Grille and Composite Light Design, the Santa Fe looks powerful, poised, and exceptionally refined. Truly, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe represents the next—and best—evolution of an SUV that has already satisfied more than 1.5 million drivers.
There is a lot to learn about the upcoming 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe before it hits the Gossett Hyundai Mazda Mitsubishi showroom this summer. To get the low-down, stop in and speak with one of our experts and watch this space for more updates.
