We all love seeing videos of military men and women coming home and surprising their loved ones. However, during the Super Bowl, Hyundai reversed the roles and surprised some overseas service men and women with a unique Super Bowl viewing experience.
For many Americans, the Super Bowl is something you watch with your family and is something that is truly American. In an ad, called “A Better Super Bowl,” that aired just after the Super Bowl ended, we saw how Hyundai reunited military families with some advanced technology.
At the U.S. Military Base in Zagan, Poland, Sgt. Richard Morrill, SPC Erik Guerrero, and Cpl. Trista Strauch had the unique opportunity to watch the Super Bowl in 360-degree immersive rooms that made them feel like they were actually at the game. Even better, their families were virtually with them as well.
Hyundai invited the three families to watch the game in their luxury box. After that, they placed stuffed bears that had some advanced 360-degree cameras and screens attached to it in a seat to represent each soldier.
Watch the ad below and we dare you not to cry.
Here at Gossett Mazda Hyundai Mitsubishi, we love seeing Hyundai work hard to support our troops.
